Real Estate Career
What does it take to become a Realtor? This is a brief outline of
the requirements for becoming a licensed Realtor.
Getting your License and Getting Started
Getting Your License - OHIO
The State of Ohio, through the Department of Commerce, requires that
an applicant for a real estate salesperson's license complete four
college
level courses in the field of real estate. Upon successful
completion of these courses, the applicant can then sit for the real
estate written exam. In the event the applicant passes the exam,
they will be given a real estate license. The licensee must be
sponsored by and work for a licensed Ohio real estate broker.
